Where do I find my AGI?   https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/agi/help/how-do-i-find-last-year-s-agi/01/25947   Your 2023 tax return shows your 2022 Adjusted Gross Income  (AGI)  If you filed a joint return then the AGI is the same for each of you.   Form 1040        line 11   If entering the amount from your 2023 tax return does not work, then try entering “0” instead.  If that does not work and you still cannot e-file, then print, sign, and mail your tax return.   You can get a free transcript of your past return from the IRS:   https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript Note: If you filed late or amended your return, your correct 2023 AGI may not be in the system.  https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1944348-how-do-i-print-and-mail-my-return-in-turbotax-online Note:  If you mail your federal return, you will also need to mail your state return.  You will not be able to e-file your state return.
You can request a Wage and Income transcript from the IRS at Transcript types for individuals and ways to order them, but note they may not be available for 2024.

Can you clarify "a husband and who are each account owners"? We are married filing jointly but the 529 plans are under my name. I don't believe there is an option to have a second account owner, only beneficiaries and successors. What meets the definition of us both being account owners? If my spouse is not an account owner, are we able to claim $10,000 for married filing jointly or only $5,000 since only one of us is an account owner?

Sorry--TurboTax no longer supports or provides updates or state downloads for 2020 software.   If you need to prepare a 2020 state return, you might be able to obtain the forms from the state to prepare by hand.  It is too late to get a refund for a 2020 tax return.     https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/state-taxes/contact-state-department-revenue/L9qVToi02_US_en_US?uid=m6e06um0

This error may have been cuased when I installed Microsoft VS Code. I did install the redistributable as suggested. Eventually I could open my return. With some help form Turbox Tax support, I was able to efile my Federal return, and though I could not efile my state, I was able to pirnt and mail my state return.
It's likely due to an add-on, upgrade, or state. For more info see: Why am I being charged for TurboTax Free Edition?
Same question.  State filing; routing and account numbers all correct.  Debit was scheduled for April 14, but it's now 5:00 on the 15th and nothing has been withdrawn for the State.
thanks for your answer but the box with the information is very small and cannot be read. Bonnie

Hi, I had a question for the community to answer. I’m very new to turbotax and filing taxes altogether. I owe state taxes and was under the assumption that I had scheduled a payment for tax day, today for the money to be taken out of my banking account. That was relative to seeing the processing fee but now. I wonder if that processing fee is separate just for turbotax helping me and if I had to separately pay my state taxes through my state tax division. Hoping someone understands my issue. Thanks.

I'm married filing separately, just like I did last year.    Completecheck is sending me back to my Form IA 1040 Schedule 1 line 18 (B). It's telling me that the box under [Spouse ' filing status 3 only] can't be blank and to put 0 if it doesn't apply. When I enter '0', Completecheck sends me back because the box must be blank.   I'm not sure if this is some sort of glitch. I'm pulling my hair out. It won't let me efile my state taxes because of this, and I've already paid for that service.

If your TurboTax return has been accepted by the IRS, you generally do not need to mail anything in.   . Here are a few things to consider:   Payment Due: If you owe taxes and chose to mail your payment, you will need to send in your payment along with Form 1040-V Additional Documentation: In rare cases, the IRS might request additional documentation.
