Every time I review my tax return TurboTax says that my deductible mortgage interest is too small. There is no place to add anything but a red box on item 12 says -1. I’ve entered the amount of mortgage interest directly from my 1098. Every time I try to edible my returns it returns to this screen. How can I get out of this loop? Please help me. Thank you very much.

The IRS should catch that and add it in for you. Wait and see what the IRS sends for your refund.

No. If you cannot complete your taxes today, file an extension. Then you will have until October 15 to get them done with no late charges.

You should fill out your information either in the TurboTax program (the easiest way), and it will calculate your estimated tax payments (as well as print your quarterly vouchers) or you can go online to the IRS website and fill out, calculate;, print and then mail your 1040-ES form.
If you want to add Form 1040-ES vouchers to your return yourself, follow these instructions.
Mail your payment along with the corresponding 1040-ES voucher to the IRS address listed on the voucher. Quarterly payment due dates are printed on each voucher.
Additional estimated tax payment options, including direct debit, credit card, cash, and wire transfer, are available at the IRS Payment website.
You also have the option when you file your return to apply some or all of your refund to your estimated tax payments for the coming tax year.

Thanks @MinhT1! Both my extension and return were filed through TurboTax and accepted by the IRS. Unfortunately I did not notice an option to report estimated tax paid when I was filing my return, nor did TurboTax prefill my estimated tax paid even though I filed the extension through TurboTax! Line 26 on 1040 is blank and I am due a refund on my federal return even without the estimated tax payment factored in. Do I need to file an amended return to make sure my refund includes the estimated tax that I effectively overpaid?

We are paying Turbo Tax to know and understand the details. TT is smart enough to check the windows version at startup, then refuse to launch unless Win10 or higher. It is just as easy for TT to verify TMP and TEMP presence at startup as well. More insidious is the network METERING function that causes TT update errors. In its infinite wisdom, Microsoft updates took it upon itself to enable METERING in my network connection. This resulted in a cryptic fail-to-update message from TT. The user is paying Turbo Tax to do its job, because most users are not system admins familiar with Windows internals. Same goes for TT asking me to dig out some Sched-E carryover field from last years tax return, that it prepared. TT knows exactly what it wants, and where to find it, yet demands the user scour through old returns to find some arcane value and manually plug it in. Millions of users are paying TT good money to do the job. These basic loose ends are unacceptable.

Informational returns are forms and documents sent to the IRS as a means of giving the IRS information (only) such as a copy of Form 1099-MISC or a copy of someone's W-2. It could also include Form 941 reporting tax withholding for employees.
The IRS will match some "informational returns" to taxpayer's tax returns and make sure they are being declared.
