So, then, when asked if I received a 1099K, do I answer "No"?
That’s exactly how I’ve done it in the past, but that option is not there this year in the Premium Plan online.

I paid estimated taxes to NY State on two occasions in 2024. - First on 08/05/2024 : New York State ($): 600.00 City of New York ($): 416.00 City of Yonkers ($): 0.00 MCTMT ($): 200.00. - Second on 09/12/2024 : New York State ($): 667.00 City of New York ($): 15.00 City of Yonkers ($): 0.00 MCTMT ($): 80.00. I found where to enter State Estimated and Local Estimated taxes within the "Deductions and Credits > Estimated Tax Payments" section of the Federal Return. Where can I enter my paid Estimated MCTMT taxes? When I go to "Fix Issues/Review" my state taxes it shows the form "Metropolitan Commuter Transportation Mobility Tax Worksheet" and it shows the amount of $94 four times on lines A, B, C, and D. Where did Turbo Tax get these numbers? It is asking me to put the ES payment date for each of these, but this is not the amounts I paid. How/where can I edit the MCTMT Worksheet on TurboTax to show the actual amounts and dates paid? Nothing comes up when I search "MCTMT" in the search bar. As an aside - I believe that I have overpaid the MCTMT tax and do not owe it because my income is not high enough. According to tax.ny.gov "In order to be subject to the MCTMT for the quarter, the employer must have payroll expense in the entire MCTD (both Zone 1 and Zone 2) greater than $312,500." My annual income was below that. Thank you!

For NJ, it lists all income. If the income is NOT taxable to NJ, you must check the box to remove the wages.    Your resident state will tax all income and give you a credit for income taxed by another state. Prepare all the nonresident states first. You will need to review your tax forms to get the right state taxable income and liabilities for your resident state return.    To print or view  your forms, including all worksheets: In desktop, switch to Forms Mode.  For online: On the left side, select  Tax Tools Select Print center Select Print, save or preview this year's return If you have not paid, select pay now.
You may find that In TurboTax within the Utah state income tax return.  See the screen Credit for Tax Paid to Another State,

Here are two ways to navigate to the section to enter the 6 digit IP PIN:     Log in and open your return ("Take me to my return")  Once the return is open, then go to the Federal Taxes tab.  Subtab Other Tax Situations  Scroll down to Other Return Info.  Choose Identity Protection PIN and Start (or Revisit.)  Next screen asks:  "Did you or any of your dependents get an IP PIN from the IRS for this year's taxes?"  Or another way:  Open your return if not already open.  ("Take me to my return.")  Once the return is open, click at the top on MY ACCOUNT, then choose TOOLS.  In the Tools window choose TOPIC SEARCH.  Enter IP PIN without quotes.  In the selection list highlight IP PIN and click GO.  Next screen asks:  "Did you or any of your dependents get an IP PIN from the IRS for this year's taxes?"

We've contributed to Roth IRAs for a long time, but this year TT is telling me I've made excess contributions because we didn't have enough Earned Income. I am retired, have a pension, but didn't do any freelance work in past year, so the only W2- or 1099NEC-reported income (Earned Income, I suppose) is her part-time employment. That was less than $16K for the year. Is that the crux of this? And, if so, should I just pay the IRS penalty or pull the "excess" back out of my IRA?   I know I should've run into this three months ago so I'd have plenty of time to rectify, but I have very little confidence that Victory Cap. isn't going to screw this up if/when I do call them to fix/reverse the excess contributions to my IRA.

The instructions for the 1098-C state If you e-file your return, you must (a) attach Copy B of Form 1098-C to Form 8453 and mail the forms to the IRS, or (b) include Form 1098-C as a PDF attachment if your software program permits. Where do you see the IRS accepts this form by e-file? Were you referring to the PDF copy that some software might add to the e-file?
