When you use online TurboTax there are separate fees for federal and state returns. If you use a paid version for the federal return you use the corresponding paid version for the state return. You had to use a paid version to enter unemployment compensation so you also used a paid version for the state.

Which state? Some states use the same form for part year as they do full year. You can look at the form and see if there is a check mark on the box that says part year resident.

IRS has said it will review all 2021 filed tax returns, examining Box 30 for correctness. If you are eligible, you will get it. You are probably not eligible. April 18, 2025 is the last day to amend if you want to file 1040-X with an amount from Line 30. your rebate goes on 1040-X line 15 col (b) col (c) mark box Other and write "EIP3 rebate" in the space provided. Do not include your old 1040 nor your revised 1040 because the Form 1040-X reflects any changes there and becomes your new tax return. @jamesctackett1960

I already filed to get the thing done. 🙄 Does your explanation apply to S Corp? Where is the place you enter that information? If it goes on schedule C, our business does not show up there Because the income comes through the K-1's That was the part that was confusing, because it appeared you had to enter that information on The C form. Our side income goes on the C form not our main business. Bonnie
