Where can I find a simple list of Turbotax's prices to complete tax forms for both of TurboTax's major products (Desktop and Online tax software). I know what forms I need, now I just want to know the cost. Why does Turbotax make it so difficult to find the actual price of their product? I don't want to answer a questionaire checklist of what my life is all about, I want a list of forms covered by each price category. AI and google searches give me more results than I can easily find anywhere on Turbotax websites.

@PatriciaV Thank you for your follow up. However, I am a bit confused by your post: 1. This does not exist in my Menu for Tax Cut Business Desktop "Send Tax File to Agent." (see below) 2. My software says it is up to date (see below) 3. The last update I received was before 2/13. 4. I did a full uninstall and reinstall and am still having this issue. Is there someone I can actually talk to about this since clearly something is very off here.

Deleting Cache / Cookies for 'all time' had no impact. After clearing cache / cookies, I instructed TT to 'Add Investments'. I selected Merrill from the dropdown and clicked continue. The browser opened, I entered my credentials, it did it's thing, I got the message: Success! We got your tax data. You can now return to TurboTax. I returned to TT and clicked 'Back'. Note: This is not very intuitive! If I click Continue it takes me through the import process again! Skip Import takes me to a blank form! But clicking 'Back' shows what I have imported, and I have no 'Merrill' data!

AGI is only around $500K so should still well within the $10K phase out range at $600K, even if its slightly below $40,000.

This rejection happens when your clean vehicle VIN ("Vehicle Identification Number") does not match the IRS data for the Clean Vehicles sold . The IRS compares the information you enter for the VIN with what they have in their database. When the VIN is missing or mismatched, your return gets rejected.
Sellers of clean vehicles are required to file a Clean Vehicle Seller Report with the IRS and furnish a copy to the buyer/taxpayer in order for a vehicle to be eligible for a clean vehicle credit. The Clean Vehicle Seller Report is a detailed one page form that gives all the details to the IRS about the buyer, seller and the specific clean vehicle (VIN number, make, model, etc.).
What needs to be done: Find your Clean Vehicle Seller Report (dealer may have given you similar paperwork) and confirm the VIN number with the physical vehicle purchased. Any discrepancies in the VIN number should be brought up to the Seller of your vehicle. Review your return input to see if you missed typed the VIN. You can do this under Deductions and Credits, Cars and Other Things you Own and then review the input in the topic Energy-Efficient Vehicles. If your VIN does NOT match what you inputted fix the error and resubmit the return.
If the Vehicle Seller Report and TurboTax input match further steps are needed as follows:
1. Check the box near the VIN input that you certify the correct VIN and resubmit the return. Any Digit that looks like the Letter O should be entered as a Zero.
2. Confirm with your Seller that they filled with the IRS the Clean Vehicle Seller Report as the IRS will not issue you a credit without the proper information reported to the IRS. If you did not get a copy of the Clean Vehicle Seller Report (or something similar) it may mean you purchased an electric vehicle that is not eligible for a clean vehicle tax credit.
For example many new vehicles will not qualify as they were not assembled in North America. For previously-owned clean vehicles the purchase price must be under $25,000 and the model year cannot be less than two model years old. If you have any inputted vehicle information that does not qualify for a clean vehicle credit you can delete the vehicle in the Energy-Efficient Vehicles and proceed to resubmit your return for e-file.

I submitted form 5695 via TurboTax in March 2024. I just discovered (in Feb 2025) that boxes 17a thru 17c were checked incorrectly, saying that the property was not in the USA, which it is. Today, Feb 17, 2025 I have completed my tax return. I have a tax due amount of around $700. I also have a RCEC carryforward from 2024 of $26,000 or so. TurboTax says it cannot apply my carryforward credit to my tax owed for 2025. Why? Is there a link to the incorrect lines 17a thru17c on form 5695 from last year? I tried to resubmit my 2024 return with a corrected 5695, but I cannot correct it. I had entered information correctly on TurboTax but TurboTax had checked the wrong boxes on form 5695. My immediate problem: how do I get to apply my RCEC carryforward to my tax bill for 2025? My second problem, how to correct my 2024 form 5695? Thank you.
