When you enter a 1099R for a pension, you should say it was ALL an RMD.    Did you import the 1099R?  You can manually fix the entry and change it to Fidelity.

If you paid $500 in 2025 for 2025, the taxes you paid were an estimate.  1040V is for a payment with the return, you should have used 1040-ES, so enter this in that section.    You should enter this in the estimate section enter this by navigating to Deductions and Credits, Estimates and Other Taxes Paid > Estimated Tax Payments > Federal estimated taxes for 2025 (Form 1040-ES).

In TurboTax Home & Business, in the sale of our home which had a home office the app says that there is a taxable gain of $xx on the home office depreciation that we took but this value never shows up in the list of income on the 1040; why does it not show up?  The system also insists that the box for Installment Income be checked, which I did not do as this is not an installment sale.  Please explain what I should do for both (1) the taxable gain statement that does not show up in the list of income and (2) the installment box checkmark.   Many thanks,   SamB

Yes. If you received distributions from an IRA you have to report the distributions on your tax return. Fidelity sent you a Form 1099-R showing the total distributions that you received for the year. You have to enter the 1099-R in TurboTax. If you did not receive the 1099-R in the mail you can download it from your online Fidelity account or call them and ask them to send another copy.  
example: 3 funds and 1099-div box 1a says $5000. One fund 's U.S. government obligation is 8% for just that one fund, whose actual portion of the $5K is $2K. How does TT know what to do?

Let us know if you are still having issues.  I would recommend updating your software and trying again.     If you are using TurboTax Desktop, please log into your program and select Online, Check for updates in the top menu. If you are using TurboTax Online, please log out of the program, clear your cache, and then log back in.  This should allow you to proceed with transmitting your return. @Scout03

We got married in July. We live in VA under military orders. We want to file Married Joint, but Turbo Tax is telling me under the State section that I have to file Married Filling Separate. This doesn't seem right, and am trying to get further details. She is not a resident of NC under the Military Spouses Residency Relief Act. Assistance and/or steps would be greatly appreciated!
Turbo tax is not updated for residential rental property depreciation. When will it be ready?

As per xmasbaby0 above, you must wait until your return is fully processed and you have received your refund before preparing and e-filing your amended tax return.   Once your tax return is fully processed, to amend your return using TurboTax Online you will: Log in to your TurboTax account. At your homepage, look for "Your tax returns & documents" and select the correct tax year. The you will select the "Amend (change) return" dropdown and in the dropdown choose "Amend using TurboTax Online". Follow your prompts, and select your reason for amending. Make your corrections, and make your corrections (add your W-2(s)). Make sure to review your return before filing and then  follow the prompts to e-file or print and mail Form 1040-X to the IRS.    You will be able to track your amended return using this link  Where's My Amended Return? on IRS.gov.
