To enter Student Loan interest reported on Form 1098-E in your return, please see the following instructions:
- Log in to your TurboTax Online account, or open your TurboTax CD/Download
- Click Take me to my return
- Click on Federal Taxes ( Personal in TurboTax Self Employed or Home and Business)
- Click on Deductions & Credits (Click to Check for more tax breaks, then Skip to all tax breaks)
- Find Education
- Locate Student Loan Interest Paid (Form 1098-E)
- Click to Start
