I am trying to enter in the tuition expenses from my 1098-T but it is not letting me. It will only let me put in books and supplies cost. How do I fix this?

You will need to delete entries already made for qualified education expenses are re-enter the 1098-T information. Follow these steps:

• From the menu on the left, choose Tax Tools
• Click on Tools
• Select Delete a Form
• Scroll through the forms and click Delete next to any 1098-T or 1098-T Wks

Now that you have deleted the previous entries, return to the Deductions & Credits section and enter the education expenses are requested on the screens.

I'm having this same issue- I cannot enter 1098-t; just getting books and supplies. I can't get tuition and fees. I even started over and am having the same issue! You stated to remove the form info but if I started over and ama getting same thing (not being able to enter tuition and fees) removing a form will not make a difference. HELP!! 3x trying this now and I NEVER had that issues last year!

From Deductions & Credits

Expenses and Scholarships (form 1098-T) hit Update

From the page that says Now Let's Gather The Additional Education Expenses

Hit Continue. You will need to continue through several screens until you get to the screen that says Your Education Expenses Summary click Edit

At Here's Your Education Summary you can Edit, Delete or Add New School
