Its not clear from the question if you have actually filed your return already so I will give you multiple options for everything.

If you have not filed your return, you can log back into your account and use the steps below to go back to the Student Loan Interest section -

  • Log into your account and click Take Me to My Return
  • Click on the Federal Taxes tab
  • Then Deductions and Credits
  • Scroll down until you see Education (you may have to click Check for More Credits and Show All to get the full list to appear)
  • Click on the Student Loan Interest Paid (Form 1098E) section
  • You can check the total amounts or if you have two separate lenders, you should see two entries

If this doesn't clear up, check your actual Tax Summary to view the 1040A and the student loan interest deduction -
  • Go to My Account
  • Click Tools
  • Click View Tax Summary under other helpful links
  • Click Preview my 1040 (it will be in grey above the Review Tax Summary screen)
  • Since you are using Free Edition, you should have a 1040A
  • Check Line 18 for Student Loan interest deduction
  • You should be able to see the total here and if that adds up to both your lenders

If you have filed and you saved or printed your return, then you can check your PDF for Line 18 Student Loan Interest (part of your PDF file will also have a Student Loan Interest Deduction Worksheet that you can check).  If you need to get your pdf, follow these steps -

  • Log into your account
  • Click Taxes tab
  • Select My Tax Timeline from the drop down menu
  • Scroll towards the bottom of screen until you get to Some Other Things You Can Do section
  • Click Download / Print PDF or Download All Forms and Worksheets (this file will be much larger)
