If my parents claimed my 1098-T on their taxes because I am a dependent on them, should I still file my 1098-T?

No.  The Form 1098-T is not entered on your tax return since your parent's claim you as a dependent and they have entered the education expenses on their tax return from the 1098-T.

No.  The tuition credits generated by the entry of tuition expenses are not available to you if you are a dependent.

The 1098-T is only an informational document. The numbers on it are not required to be entered onto your tax return. However receipt of a 1098-T frequently means the parents are eligible for a tuition credit or possibly the student has taxable scholarship income.

If there is an amount in box 5 and box 1 of your 1098-T exceeds box 5 by less than $4000, reply back for additional advice.
