I did not receive a 1098? How do I get one?

I am stuck on my taxes. I need a 1098, so we can deduct the interest and taxes paid on our home but we did not get one, what do I do?

You would need to contact your lender for getting the Form 1098 information.

You should wait. the form may be delayed.
OR
You can enter this using information from your own records.
Your local tax collector office will give you a printout of your property tax paid in 2016.

I have called my mortgage company many times.... the computer answer system always cuts me off.  My loan was sold to another mortgage company, it recognizes my phone number.  How do I contact them?  They are the Amerihome Mortgage company.  I need my 1098 from last year...they did not send one from last year.  Can anybody help me?

Sorry we can't help you get your 1098.  You have to try to contact the lender.   Maybe you can get a copy from their website.
