529 earnings as state income.

Turbotax is reporting earnings from my 1099-Q as income on my Alabama state return. Is this a bug in the program? If so, is there a workaround?

529 earnings as state income.

Anything that is taxable on the federal return, automatically transfer to the state return as taxable income.
