Received a text from Turbo stating I have a inbox message about my stimulus. Where do I see messages? When I logon i don't see that option.

Please check you email inbox. Also, check you Spam folder in case it's in there. 

Once your updated information is submitted you should receive your stimulus payment within 5 business days.

• Note: You have to update your information by 1/15/2021.

Please follow these steps to update your information in the portal:

• Go here and sign in with the username and password you used to file your 2019 tax return
• Validate your identity
• Enter your updated bank account information

I received a text message stating I had  an email regarding my stimulus deposit but when logging in just takes me to where information is for tax return

TurboTax is referring to your personal email account inbox. Your TurboTax account does not have an email inbox. 

TurboTax sent an email to some of our customers to update their stimulus payment direct deposit information. If you received this email, once your updated information is submitted you should receive your stimulus payment within 5 business days.

I received this text and the email was about the unemployment being tax free.

same been waiting for that unemployment information got the text but cant find any emails anywhere.. fake text maybe

The text message was legit, but it was referencing an email sent the previous week regarding unemployment.   The email basically said that you do not need to amend for unemployment.   The IRS updated the unemployment exclusion.    Normally, you would need to file an amendment to recoup the taxes paid, but the IRS said that they will issue refunds for those taxes starting in May.
