At the end of the Income section of TurboTax, you are prompted to answer questions about foreign bank accounts. Be sure to answer the questions.
The final section of Schedule B is where you must disclose any foreign bank or investment accounts you have and whether you receive distributions from certain foreign trusts. If you have sufficient dividends or interest requiring you to fill out Schedule B, then you must answer these questions. If you answer affirmatively to any question, you may have to fill out Form TD F 90-22.1. See here for instructions for Schedule B.
You can preview your return before filing to see all of the forms TurboTax has prepared from your entries and to find out how your taxes were calculated. See here for details.
If you have completed the interview and answered the foreign bank account questions as mentioned by Mike9241 above, but you still aren't seeing a Schedule B when you preview your complete return, you can send us a “diagnostic” file that has your “numbers” but not your personal information. If you would like to do this, here are the instructions for TurboTax Online users:
Go to the black panel on the left side of your program and select Tax Tools.
We will then be able to see what exactly is going on in your return and provide you with a resolution.
