How do I edit schedule 3? I misread the instructions and entered an amount for line 7 but it needs to be 0

Schedule 3 line 7 is the total of line 6a-6z.  What line do you need to change?

I'll assume you have not yet filed your return.

The 2021 Schedule 3, Line 10 is "Amount paid with request for extension to file."

Is that what you need to correct?    By "it needs to be 0", are you saying you did not make an extension payment?  

You appear to be using Online Deluxe--at least that is what is displayed underneath your question.  Here are the navigation steps in Online TurboTax to that part of the interview to make any correction:

• Open your return, and in the left menu column, click the Federal tab
• Then click the subtab Deductions & Credits.
• Scroll way down on the "Tax Breaks" screen until you see the category "Estimates and Other Taxes Paid."
• Click "Show More" to expand the subtopics, and choose "Income Taxes Paid."  (click Start or Revisit).
• On the next screen, titled "Income Taxes Paid," you should see a category of  "Payments with Extension."  Choose the type of extension payment and click Start or Revisit.

NOTE:  After making your changes, make sure everything flowed correctly.    If this is a Federal extension payment,  before filing verify that the payment entry shows up correctly on Schedule 3, Line 10.   It should also be included in the figure showing on your Federal Form 1040, Line 31.

After following instructions and updating tax paid on extension, still Schedule 3 Line 10 is blank. For a fun, I changed amount from 1000 to a million $, nothing changed.
