Can you review 1099s that you've already entered?

You can see them when you go to your business entries, then choose Business Income on the screen that says Your Business. Update the section that says 1099-NEC.

You can also type in Form 1099-NEC in the search box on the top of your screen and use the Jump to form 1099-nec option to find the section where your 1099-NEC entries are.

Yes, provided you haven't filed your return you can go back and review (and Edit) any 1099 you've posted.  There are many designations to the 1099 family, but as long as you know where you posted it, you can make the adjustment.

On the other hand, if you've already filed your return, and it was accepted, you will have to be very careful not to change anything in the return.

Get back into the return

TurboTax Online

  1. Sign in to TurboTax.
  2. Under Your tax returns & documents, select Show, and then select 2021.
  3. Now select Add a state (this reopens your return).
  4. Select State from the left menu (on mobile devices, tap in the upper-left corner to open the menu).
  5. On the Let's get your state taxes done right screen, select Continue and follow the instructions.
  6. Do Not amend your return
  7. Go back and change post your new information.

 TurboTax CD/Download software

With your return open, select the State Taxes tab near the top. This will take you to the state section and you can proceed from there.

1099s you received or ones you prepared to give to people you paid?  Ones you entered into your tax return or prepared in Quick Employer Forms?

Can you review 1099s that you've already entered?

1099-NECs I've received from clients. I just want to go back and verify them individually. All I can see is the total self employed income I've entered.
