You will receive your stimulus payment by January15 if you are to receive it automatically. If you don't receive it by then, you need to apply for it on this year's (2020) tax return.
When you prepare your tax return for 2020 in TurboTax, you will be prompted to enter how much you received for your stimulus and then the program will calculate the amount of stimulus due you based on your income, number of dependents and payments already received. If any additional stimulus is due you, it will be used to reduce your 2020 income tax liability, and the balance will be refunded to you.
You will see the options when you are done entering your tax information and proceed to the review process.
You can file a tax return in 2020 to get your stimulus check, even if you aren't required to otherwise.
Will I get a check or will it comes on my card??
It would normally be deposited to the account you used when you filed your tax return in 2019, which was a card evidently. However, you could receive a check if the IRS was unable to deposit it to the card.
Today is the 15th and still no stimulus
Check the IRS Get My Payment tool. The tool should tell you where your stimulus payment was deposited or mailed. The IRS has indicated there’s nothing you can do to change where they send your payment.
@Vigilh25
If for some reason you do not receive all or part of your stimulus payments in advance, you can have it added to your refund. The IRS will stop mailing payments on 1/15 and will not begin processing returns until sometime after 1/25 so all stimulus payments should have been received by then and you can file the return with the credit.
Please wait until you are certain there is no second payment, then you can follow these steps, if necessary.
Please see: Is My Second Stimulus Check on the way? and the IRS stimulus website
I did it’s not saying anything
