Wow. I expect the IRS servers to be overwhelmed on that day.
For anyone still waiting on TT for the 3800, go to another service if you can. I had to start over this morning with 1040.com, but Success! My return was accepted almost immediately. I had been waiting on the irs to release the forms to TT for 3 weeks
Thanks, but not going to help with those of us trying to file 1020's for our businesses. Can't file our 1040's until 1020's are done.
Anyone have an update on this? My TT Business Windows software still won't let me proceed. Still waiting on 3800. Was suppose to be released for 1040s yesterday, but this is getting ridiculous, can't file 1020 Sub S and print K-1s.
Can't find an edit button, so for others... 3800 pushed off till 3-1-24 on Business software. Looks like I will be looking for new software next year. With the delayed release of forms (while available on personal software from them), late E file W-2 filings, no ability to complete and mail w-2s any longer, Intuit would offer a credit keep customers and fix this for next year.
I was getting this message or similar on the personal side under "C". Was not clear it is still unresolved on the Business program as we do not have employees under the "E" form. Lucky us.
I found form 3800 under turbotax business - but I can't fill out everything... is it still " under maintenance"?
Its already 3/6/24, this is the day 3800 is supposed to be available. Yet it is NOT. It is going to take time to move on to a different tax service. I wish I could get a straight answer.
Now there saying that the software updates on Thursdays, meaning what now it's the 7th ?. What is going on over there. I'm extremely confused by how this can be this bad of an experience. How can other tax places have the form ready and Turbo Tax not.
At one time TT said form 3800 will be ready 3/6/24 but now it simply says "soon". The form availability chart says form 3800 is available but I am still waiting for TT to finish whatever they have to do, in the mean time I've finished my return and want to send it. I've added my name for an email update, but so far there is no further information, a little worrisome. I wish TT would update the issue.
i finished this and i still can't efile. i don't think form 3800 is letting me e-file. i've always e-filed and this is the only added form i have on my tax return this time.
If you are using the desktop/download version of TurboTax, please make sure you have all of the latest program updates.
To do so, follow these steps:

Thanks but I was tired of waiting and talked to 3 different people at TurboTax. Last person just told me I have to mail it. So I did.
I've gotten the email about the form being ready, but there are still fatal errors occurring on that part of the process in TurboTax Online. I have no credits to claim, am answering the corresponding questions that way, and entering "0" or leaving blank all relevant amount fields, and the Business Credits section of Wages & Credits is still showing "not started." It's Feb 28th today, but no change in the behavior of the program. It's not letting me select nothing, which would be the accurate representation in my case (self-employed + W2 + filing jointly).
