It will not let me fill out schedule E worksheet for automobile expenses?

In the Rental Properties section, EDIT your rental property. At the list of Rental Topics, go to Vehicle Expenses (screenshot).

If you don' see your vehicle on the Vehicle Summary page, you can add it (screenshot).

If it is already listed, EDIT your vehicle.

You will then enter info about the vehicle; make sure you indicate you own or lease it, and that you kept track of business miles.

Continue until you can add 'Miles Driven for Rental or Royalty' (screenshot).
