Enter Salaries and Wages Paid - Net or Gross
For the "Salaries Paid" (to officers in my case), should I enter the net amount (the total of checks written), or the Payroll gross amount?
Thanks

I'm referring to "Federal Taxes", then "Deductions", then the area called "Compensation and Benefits", then "Salaries and Wages Paid". I was thinking some of the payroll taxes go on 12 of the 1120-S.
Thanks

Only the payroll taxes paid by the company is reported in the payroll taxes section since the GROSS wages are reported in the wages section (which includes the amount withheld for the employee portion of the payroll taxes).
