Credit for new AC units

We installed two new AC units on our primary home in 2016.  Do we get credits for each unit?  How do I enter this, under the Energy-Efficient Building Property?  How do I enter both units?

Yes, you would enter these entries if you qualify for the Deduction

• Please see information below to see if you Qualify

• If it is a high efficiency unit it may qualify for energy credits.  Home Energy Credits are under the deductions and credits tab in the first category (Your Home.)  Go to Federal Taxes, then Deductions and Credits, then Explore on my own, then Your home, then home energy credits.

• Make sure that you have a manufacturer's certification from your installer that it meets the Energy Credit criteria.
