I got my code on Saturday on the 17th. So i am hoping it is a delay like it says but i will make a call Tuesday to double check. I have filed the same way the last 4 years and never been through this. Hopefully it is due to high volume delays. I will update.

I filed on 1/28 got the approval the next day 1/29. I checked the website and it had. No real information just the bar that said refund received. I checked again on Friday 2/16 and it had the delay code 1541. I called the IRS the same day and they said that the computer randomly picks refunds to be reviewed and that they don’t see an issue but I should receive a letter in the mail if there is a problem within 4-6 weeks and it could take up to 45 days to receive my refund. I have been checking the site daily since then and the code is still up that says my refund is delayed. I’m praying it is released as I also really needed my refund.

@noellejones06 We are all right there with you. Hopefully, we are all cleared soon and can receive our deposits. I will be sure to update you guys tomorrow.

I received a letter 4464c it says I’m not required to do any At this time if I haven’t received my refund or been contacted by them in writing gave them a call so I guess I just have to wait and see praying I get a DDD soon

@ladonna1988 The code just popped up for me on Friday on WMR. There was nothing in the mailbox and no mail today due to the holiday. So, I’m just waiting on tomorrow morning.

I got my letter Saturday but I’m going to call them in the morning to see if they will be able to give me more info other then if I haven’t received my refund or another letter within 60days because that is to long I been filing the same way and my 2 kids for 6yrar now and never had this happen

UPDATE: I called in this morning and was told that I had a debt from 2016 (federal debt). My refund was offset and basically satisfied the debt. I have a small difference that will be DD in about 4-6 weeks.

@sothavrathoum I called in at 7:15am and waited on hold for about 30 mins. Try first thing in the morning, that may help.

Update: So i just made the call to them and the lady was polite. She did not tell me anything was wrong except that if i claimed eic to check the wheres my refund for any changes in direct deposit date. She said if nothing changes to call her on the 27th and they will then.

I filed on 1/22/18 and the it's accepted it on 1/23/18 . I checked wmr on 2/10/18 and it said to take action (1541 code) today is the 2/20/18 and it still says the same thing. I called a couple times and also got a letter saying my refund is being reviewed .. I'm not sure why.. but I really wish they would let me know something

yeah the irs worker who picked up mine said nothing about a letter or anything being wrong. i hope she does mean it when she says i should get a direct deposit update. i am crossing my fingers and i will update all of you guys and thanks price! I hope they are not just pushing me back 7 more days to tell me bad news. We will see
