I filed my taxes on Jan 27th when the IRS started accepting e-file returns for 2019 tax year. My wife and I file separately. Both of our returns were accepted at the same time and when I check the refund status on my return, I get the standard display with Refund Received/Approved/Sent. For my wife's return I get the following message, "We cannot provide any information about your refund. You must wait at least 24 hours after you get the acknowledgement e-mail that your tax return was received by the IRS". Anybody know what the difference may be?

The IRS just began to process millions of returns. They system may just be clogged up so patience is advised.
TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 20 of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

On the IRS site you are also offered the use of an app called IRS2Go

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

@xmasbaby0 Thank you, I understand all of that. My returns have both been accepted. As I stated my return shows the normal page where my wife's return does not. I am entering all of the information correctly but it still is saying the information is not correct. Does this mean that at this time one return has been Approved and one has not yet been approved? I'm curious as to why there is a discrepancy/difference when both returns were submitted nearly at the same time and both returns were accepted at nearly the same time.
THEY PUT A STOP ON MY REFUND BECAUSE ADJUSTED INCOME WS NOT CORRECT.
