Sorry---Its Deductible was eliminated in October 2025. It has not yet been replaced with a different way to evaluate donations, although TurboTax says that eventually there will be a replacement. We do not know anything about what or when.
The loss of Its Deductible is unexpected and disapppointing. Curious why Turbotax would develop and promote a tool that many found useful, keep it for many years, and then remove from the package without notifying its customers. This strikes me as deceitful. What's next to go, Schedule A?
This article will help you download any data you had in ItsDeductible (if used previously or during the year before it was shut down in October).
A FMV calculator has been added, but it does not have the same functionality as ItsDeductible.
We at Intuit TurboTax want our users to be completely delighted with their experience using our products and services, and successful in their financial lives and businesses.
Once you file your return, as long as the settings to receive communication from Intuit don’t block it, you will see a pop-up message or receive an email with a survey asking you about your experience. We encourage you to leave your notes and comments there. “Voice of the Customer” notes and comments are read and acted upon.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can also leave feedback at the Final Steps tab.
The loss of Its Deductible is terrible. It delayed my tax filing. I was never notified it was going away. I have completely lost faith in the TurboTax product. They could have at least let us finish using it for 2025.
This is not available at this time however there are several places to arrive at your estimated value for the donations of personal items.
The value of clothing, books, etc. can be found using various methods. For examples see the links below for a guide to assist.
Any reasonable method will be appropriate, just keep the details with your tax records should you need it later.
