When is release of 2023 tax year program?

The 2023 TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions should be available by mid-November. The 2023 TurboTax online web based editions should be available in early December.

Is that a reasonable price from Amazon? $143?! What will the cost be with TurboTax directly?

Yes, $143 is for the Business edition (from Amazon).

It came out yesterday but after a successful install, when trying to run it gives a generic error.

Do you have an Intuit account? My understanding is that you need to enter your license code and log in to your Intuit account in order to use the 2023 software.

Yes I have a license code. The software installed fine. The problem occurs when trying to run it. It displays a generic error screen that says: "oops something went wrong and TurboTax will close."

The screen asks for my email to send the report but alas there is no error number/reference.

I've tried:

Uninstalled/reinstalled
Downloaded the installation .exe three times (same file)
Attempted the re-install/repair option
Did all of the above running as an administrator.

Previous versions still run fine and ironically install updates.

I know it's still early but as a small business owner, I like to be pro-active.

@Dusty12301 If you are an Advantage member, you paid in advance and your CD/download is available right now. It is only the online software that has not yet become available---which does not pertain to the Advantage program.
