@Scumbagswife my dad had the same exact issue of them not being able to verify his identity when trying to create the CK spend account. After having and reading about all the problems I didn't even bother trying to help him resolve that issue. I just helped him file his return, and TT sent emails stating both state and federal were accepted but when I check his on the IRS website it says it can't be found and it's been over a week so I get the feeling TT probably screwed that up too!
I have tried everything that has been listed to fix this issue of my refund advance. Turbo Tax, Credit Karma, and the bank are all pointing fingers and have been sending me in circles. I'm done. My husband and I pay out too flipping much to this company to get this kind of run around. I contacted a class action attorney here in WA state. Let's see where the fingers start pointing now. I don't believe that suing works usually, but this is ridiculous. A bunch of us live hand to mouth. Just because we are not rich does not mean we are STUPID! Let's see what comes of this. After I told the resolution office at Turbo Tax that I smelled a class action case, if not from me then from one of the other hundreds/thousands with the same issue. It's amazing how many times they have called me now. They are asking me to give them another 24 hours to figure it out. Hmmmm, I'm thinking they are buying for time. Therefore, class action attorney has now been contacted.

Unfortunately anyone filing will not see this blog until it is too late. I know I didn't see it until after I had the issue. Bad INTUIT no cookie!

updated my emails so they were the same

I changed my email address on turbotax and credit karma.. still not working

BUT when I try to file for the advance and it leaves the turbotax site and goes to credit karma I still get the identity verification error
I have refreshed browsers, cleared cookies and called and emailed both turbotax and credit karma repeatedly
this is exhausting

Was this ever cleared up? My problem is also with refund method. When I try to buy treasury bonds with my refund and after completing the required information for the purchase I move thru review and am looped back to step 2 again and can't move thru to step 3.
