First -- verify that your returns have been filed and accepted --  then check the fed & state web sites to see where you are in the process-

Check Your E-File Status on this Secure TurboTax website
https://turbotax.intuit.com/efile/efile_status_lookup.jsp
- It will show the date you transmitted your return and if it was accepted or rejected.
- Both your Federal and State will be listed separately if you filed both.
- It will tell you when you E-filed
- The electronic filing date

See the following TurboTax support article on checking your e-file status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1908859-how-do-i-look-up-the-status-of-my-e-filed-return

If you were in the delayed group .....

This is a totally new process this year so there are bound to be delays ... they now must wade thru the millions of returns that have been backlogged due to the new rules ... patience will be required while they figure out this new system.  FYI ... this will be a permanent situation so plan accordingly ... folks who are affected by the new rule and usually get a refund in mid Jan will be waiting until the end of February.

IRS posted this Monday ...

“Where’s My Refund?” Updates Feb. 18 for Most EITC and ACTC Filers

Where’s My Refund? will be updated on Feb. 18 for the vast majority of early filers who claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit. Before Feb. 18, some taxpayers may see a projected deposit date or an intermittent message that the IRS is processing their return.

By law, the IRS is required to hold EITC and ACTC refunds until Feb. 15. However, taxpayers may not see those refunds until the week of Feb. 27. Due to differing time frames with financial institutions, weekends and the Presidents Day holiday, these refunds likely will not start arriving in bank accounts or on debit cards until the week of Feb. 27 -- if there are no processing issues with the tax return and the taxpayer chose direct deposit.
