Still on a rampage ! We qualify for $3,000. I will admit that I received $1,500 today via direct deposit. However, the IRS still shows my EIP as nothing and my wife who was non existent it now says her "check" was mailed on January 6th. What and the hell is going on here !! No garnishments are allowed out of this check so I don't have to worry there. But why can't they get their information right ! We need the finding ... Because as soon as it came it left. Regardless if it was the right amount. Bills were paid.
But were still missing our full EIP !
Clearly there is a level of involvement of TurboTax and the IRS with this issue. I understand it is an error. However, they both DO have control and CAN see if they wanted to what and where the payments are. The entities choose not to.
Good morning -
I know that we had a discussion last week about missing EIP payments. However, I have an issue that needs to be addressed. We received 1/2 of our expected EIP payment. Now checking www.irs.gov/eip under the primary SSN it still shows that the IRS doesn't have enough information. Now searching my wife's information and using an OLD address that was not connected to our return (I checked the transcript) it says her check was MAILED on January 6th 2021. The concern is as follows. Our AIG for 2019 was approx. $46k I believe, we are married, with 3 children (dependents). We should receive $3,000. There was a deposit of $1,500 on January 11th 2021 into our bank account listed as (ACH/TAX PRODUCTS PR1 XXTAXEIP2 STI42DU95SXE66). Now it's my understanding this is TurboTax.
But where is our additional funds ? We are short $1,500 in stimulus funding. This is what we are legally entitled to. If the first $1,500 came from TurboTax, I think were owed some money.
What the heck is going on here ?
TurboTax does not have, nor can we access your information. If you did not receive your full stimulus you will need to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit.
