Mine was accepted on 02/07 and I had the bar showing until 02/17, since 18th the massage changed to "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available."
It will be 21 days on 02/28 so fingers cross😇
Mine says same thing but I have been waiting all reb and still no change yet hope I get it soon
I'm in the same situation, any updates? No change to mine just the same message of still being processed. My refund amount doesn't show either.
I see some getting their refunds, some not...some having DDD some not...I did look at my bank account from last year and my refund did not hit my bank until March 6th...So technically I guess its not late 🤔..Im just in a hurry 🤑
When will there be an up date on the tax return, im still being processed.. I don't owe anything and everything was done correct..
Exact same scenario for me I filed on the 7th. My 21st day was the 28th. Calling first time Monday morning
@728mytaxes ,"Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available.", means that your return is processing, The IRS will issue a refund date (The date your refund will be deposited or mailed) once they are done with processing. The IRS estimates that most refunds will be sent within three weeks after your e-filed returns are accepted. If 21 days pass after your return is accepted and you are not issued a refund date, you can reach out to the IRS to inquire about the status of your return. Please click here for contact information.
Still processing had topic 152 now it's gone still saying (stilling processing) No updates Anyone else still waiting
If you claimed the EIC (Earned Income Credit) or ACTC (Additional Child Tax Credit), you will most likely see the message, "We have received your tax return and it is being processed" for several days after February 15th.
Where's My Refund? will be updated with projected deposit dates for most early EITC/ACTC refund filers by February 22.
The IRS expects the first of these refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or on debit cards by the first week of March.
Refer to the following link for additional information: Refund Timing for Earned Income Tax Credit and Additional Child Tax Credit Filers
We didn't have any ACTC or EIC and our Federal return says "still processing with the code 152"!! Our state return was deposited one week after filling.
will update if anything changes.
The IRS processes returns in batches, you should be hearing something soon unless there are any
refund offsets or corrections needed. If there are any offsets they will notify you in writing. Please take a look at the link below.
Why do some refunds take longer than others?
Mine has been in there a long time too. And my tax preparer sent the documentation back the very next day via fax. And it is still saying the same thing. What is the hold up dang.
To add to the information above, during processing, the government reviews your refund. During the review process, they look for math errors on your return (extremely rare in TurboTax) and they also check if you owe back taxes, unpaid child support, or other debts.
If they need to make any corrections, they may offset (reduce) your refund. In some cases, the correction might even increase your refund.
Once that part's done, the government approves your refund, which means it's ready to be deposited or sent. At that point the IRS site will update with a direct deposit date.
Hopefully it won't be too much longer. Continue to monitor the IRS Where’s My Federal Refund? site for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight. You may also download the IRS2Go app to check your Federal refund status.
You might want to call the IRS. Could be that your being ammended, and or under Audit. If you had any changes on this season from last year's , could be why the hold up. I suggest you call.
Yes I understand that. In my case I forgot to send the marketplace paperwork; which my tax preparer did via fax the next day. So it should be OK. I have never had any issues with my taxes don't owe any governmental agencies or any child support. Never have So again it should not be any more issues. Its has been a good two-three weeks since we faxed the paperwork back.
