what does Earned Income Tax Credit Mean?

hey everyone. I have a couple questions. so I finished filing my taxes and they were accepted. I checked the Where's My Refund App...and its saying I claimed Earned Income Tax Return. I don't understand what this means. would this delay when i'll be getting my refund? I just need some insight to this!
