I PAID $25 FOR A 5 day early refund
TurboTax has NO control over the amount of time it can take the IRS to process your tax return and issue your refund. TT gives you an estimated refund date based only on a 21 day average, which is not a promise from TT or the IRS.
Has the IRS accepted your e-file?
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

Has the IRS processed your tax return and provided an issue date for the refund on the IRS refund site? If so, count backwards on your calendar for those five days and hope for the best..
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
Are you subject to the PATH act which means if you are getting earned income credit or additional child tax credit they are required to hold your refund until February 15?
If you are subject to PATH, do not expect your refund before early March. Be very pleasantly surprised it it comes sooner.

Remember that the “”5 day early” date is based on the date given to you on the IRS refund site—-not the date the TT site shows in your account. If your refund does not come in five days ahead of the IRS date, they are supposed to cancel the $25 fee.
Is that for the people who claim the child tax credit as well or is that for just the people who e-filed electronically.
What if I claim the child tax credit but my tax refund comes in the mail when would I receive that?
What if I claim the child tax credit but my tax refund check comes to my taxpayer office when would I receive it?
It depends on what you mean by Taxpayer office. Are you referring to the tax preparer's office? If so, once the check has arrived to the office, you will receive a phone call informing you to pick up your check.
The IRS doesn't normally issue tax refunds that reports additional child tax credits until mid-February. According to this IRS memorandum, "most Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) related refunds should be available in bank accounts or on debit cards by March 3 if taxpayers chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return".
Checks 'mailed could take a little longer to receive.
