Hello.
I need to view my 2017 tax return. I submitted a claim to download my info but only need the one year and really can't wait 45 days to have access. Is there anyway we can either fast track the process or could you tell me how I can access this one year?
Thank you.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
To access your current or prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
See this TurboTax support FAQ for accessing prior year online tax returns - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/prior-year-return/help/how-do-i-access-my-prior-year-return/01/270...
If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
Or go to this IRS website for free federal tax return transcripts - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
For a fee of $50 you can get a complete federal tax return from the IRS by completing Form 4506 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf
"I submitted a claim...." You are confused--there is not a way to submit a claim to view your past return. No one else can access it for you.
Not sure where you are seeing anything about waiting 45 days to get a copy of your return. That makes no sense. No one can send you your own tax return from TurboTax. You have to access it yourself and print it out yourself. No one else can access it for you or send it to you.
You can also get a free transcript from the IRS or pay the !RS $50 for an exact copy of a tax return.
To access your past return you must use the correct account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.

How do I get a copy of a return I prepared using desktop TurboTax?

I have windows net vista and am unable to view my 2018 tax return as I cannot upgrade my browser. I need to know my adjusted adjusted gross income was for 2018. I paid a balance due of $803 to the IRS on April 4, 2019.
I need help finding my 2018 tax return.
