Unfortunately if you entered the wrong banking information and went through and completely filed there is no way to change it but don't worry the IRS will be mailing you a paper check which may take just a little bit longer to get to you than direct deposit.

I filed on february 26th and it was accepted and finalized, however, I entered my closed account information. The bank said that there's was no way to even track my account info anymore but to call the IRS. Called multiple times and was never able to speak with anyone. Now it's COVID-19 therefore they're not even taking direct calls. It's now April 7th and I have yet to receive a check. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to deny the direct deposit and send out my paper check? HELP!
If the info you provided is for a closed or invalid account, the government will mail you a refund check within 8-12 weeks.
