Hello, I filed my taxes Feb 16 and it was  accepted.  Where’s my refund had no information.  So after a month of waiting I called the IRS, I was told me my return was under review but they couldn’t tell me why.  Simple 1040 with standard deduction.  The differences from past year tax return: I couldn’t itemize this year, and our income was lower. So my question is, according to our 2019 taxes we will not get any of the third stimulus payment, if they use our 2020 tax return, we would get the full amount-will we be able to get the third payment when our taxes are finally processed? Or are we out of luck because of a random review?

No, you will not lose your third stimulus. However, it may be delayed.  At this time, we are waiting for instructions from the IRS to let us know how taxpayers can get their third stimulus.

@Sps5588

  You have to access your own account and/or  print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

SAVE YOUR TAX RETURN !

EVERY year before mid-October you should save a copy of your tax return as a pdf and print a copy of it for your records.  That way you will not be searching online frantically when you need it for a lender, FAFSA forms, your next tax return, etc.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

Or -

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2020 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
