TURBOTAX ad Claims it already has all of our tax documents for filing 1040 for 2023. How is it that they have these without my permission?

I don’t recall signing a release To TURBOTAX for them to get my 2023 tax documents on their own.

They do not.  That is marketing hype just telling you that TurboTax will have all the forms and schedules available for filing a tax return.  It does not mean they have Your Documents because the do not and cannot access those documents.

That's just from the marketing dept.  It you want to use Turbo Tax you still have to log in and download them yourself from your employer, banks and finance companies.
