I'm about to send the 1040x, to Amend my return. However, it requires a check payment. Can I pay with that return ? I don't have that money right now.

To clarify- when you say "pay with return" do you mean that your original return had a refund? If so, you can wait until you receive it and use that money to pay the amend (you can wait and send the1040X and the payment at the same time).
