I received the message Take Action: Your refund is delayed Reference code 1541. Never seen that in the history of filing my taxes ! Anybody else seen this?

The path delay is for them to check returns and make sure the income meets requirements and no one else is claiming our kids. With 10 % of the staff they had no way at all to get that done in the two weeks delay they're given. I'm assuming well all start getting ddds but will be over the first two or three weeks of march, not the 27th. Which really sucks. Just wish I knew what the hell was going on. That's the most stressful part of it, all the guessing and hearing the different stories.

I mean theres no way all of us have been chosen for this random review or have something wrong with our taxes. Especially those that have been filing the same way, same w2s, same dependants for years.

This is all mine says. When I click on the contact us it tells me to have my information with reference code 1541. That's it when I called first they said wait til after the 15th so I called on the 19th only to be told wait until 27th after that I can check back if i want too. Guess it's a wait game until someone decides to give me my money or give me an answer.

Not yet. Was told to wait til the 27th. But screw that. I'm calling tomorrow along with 1000's of others in guessing

As I can see a lot of people had the same issue. I had never had a problem with any of my return at all. Guess it’s just a waiting game. I don’t believe everyone is being reviewed.

Still haven’t received my cp05 letter, still stuck on delay message, I’m going to wait until Saturday to see if it updates. It’s been almost 2 weeks since they sent my letter alone. I’m super irritated. I filed and my taxes were accepted on 1/22.... why file early to get screwed.

They kept blaming it on the 15th and the 23rd, but the last woman I spoke to said my account was under review and they sent a letter which I still haven’t gotten. You have to ask them to look into your account, don’t let them stop at the PATH ACT crap because there is more than likely something else you need to worry about.

I filed on the 27th accepted on the 29th. I just think it’s weird so many people and so many different answers they are giving out.

Everyone ive talked to has said there are no issues they can see on my acct. Nothing has been sent. Just keep being told to wait. First it was wait til the 8th, then the 15th, last the 23rd and nothing gas changed. I think some kniw but unstead of trying to help they're scared that if they us the real reason they're gonna get an ass reaming
