There is an error on my tax form. how do I correct it?

Without knowing where and what the error is it will be hard for us to tell you how to correct the error.

MY TAX WAS SENT FEB 16.  THE ERROR WAS ON MY "EIP2".  I DID RECEIVE  EIP1 AND MY EIP2.

I CHECKED THE WRONG BOX FOR EIP2 ( NO )  IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ( YES )  I DID RECEIVE IT.

I HAV NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND AS OF 4/12/21.  IRS SAYS IT IS STILL PROCESSING.

  HOW CAN I GET THIS FIXED?

The IRS will adjust your tax return and remove the credit from the federal tax refund.  They know the stimulus payment was sent.  There is nothing you need to do.

I put in the wrong county on my state tax form. How can I fix that?

If you have NOT filed yet then log back in and complete the state interview again.

If you HAVE efiled or mailed in the return then you must wait for the state to process the original return and then you can amend it.
