Update March 19: I called and after two hours finally got to a rep.

They said they cannot find my paper tax return , so they asked me to resend everything again. I waited 5 weeks . They received it Feb 15 , I sent it certified mailer with the return receipt.

Now have to reprint California, go to post office during the corona lockdown to get my refund maybe in 6-8 weeks.

Thank you turbotax for not being able to electronically file my California return.

Update March 30- Resent the paper filing last week and it was received by them today. Let see how long they take.

Mines said the same files Feb. 4th and received My federal first normally I would received my state first. This year it’s a very long wait I still haven’t received my state I fax them the paper and everything they wanted again On March 10th and now it says allow 2-3 months from the time you filed? The guy on the phone told me to allow 8 weeks for processing it’s been a month and still nothing 😑😑😑 what’s going on this year

I filed March 4, waited the month (April 4) then status changed to 3 months from then date I filed. Still no issue or date. I haven't recieved a letter or nothing. Its upsetting not knowing what is going on.

I convinced my friend to do his taxes through TurboTax for the first time now his fed is being investigated for fraud and his state is also 3 months processing. I feel bad.

I mailed by return priority mail and according to the tracking info it was delivered February 20th, but when I check the system it states there is no record of ot. Is this normal? Should I mail it again?

Did any of you above finally get your refund?

I filed on March 7th, my federal refund came 13 days later. It's now almost been 3 months. I tracked it and it says processing still. I have not recieved anything in the mail from the IRS. When I checked the status a few weeks ago it said allow up to 3 months but that went away and now it says 1 month for e-filing under the processing status

Can you clarify your question please?   You mentioned you received your IRS refund 13 days after filing but then say you still haven't received anything from the IRS.

The IRS issues a lot of refunds within 21 days, but it has been taking longer with the stimulus payment being issued in addition to the tax refunds.

I have to say I hear the common denominator is Turbo Tax yeah they failed me two the IRS and State denied me money's for my children specifically the CTC because somehow even with SS numbers my children were filed as not being born and raised in this country this city this town and this Virus as well as this Economy. So As A Single Mother Of five turbo tax ill never use again I will never recommend turbo tax the year 2021 sucked still struggling and busting your but to sit and watch others eat and you payed taxes too but messed around and filed through Turbo tax. Yes I've amended my taxes through turbo tax and a year later still waiting. This year Was H&R block let's see if they can rectify turbo taxes wrong? My 5 Children are depending on it.

I already did track my refund and it says it was issued. My question is how long does it take to get to direct deposit once it goes to issued status.

According to the CA state website, it could take 5 days.

I'm in the same boat as all of you. My thought is why are we not recieving interest and failure to pay on time from FTB? I mean that's what they do when we are late filing a return and owe money to them, right. They should be held accountable for the same.
