Hi all,
I filed my 2022 tax return early and got my confirmation of filing that evening however, my file has not been accepted/processed/received (4/20)! With that said i am wondering if how I should continue paying the money that I owe or wait until my 2022 return has been accepted.

How did you choose to pay the balance due ? With a check mailed with the-V ? Or a direct debit filed with the return ? It can take the IRS a few days to acknowledge and process payments at the end of the filing season when millions of returns are filed at the last minute.
If your return was accepted, then your payment information was sent. Funds are usually withdrawn on the payment date you specify in TurboTax, assuming your e-filed return has already been accepted (received) by the IRS. If that date falls on a weekend or federal holiday, the funds are typically withdrawn the next business day.
If you file right before (or on) the busy April 18, 2023 deadline, the IRS may not be able to debit your payment until after the deadline due to high e-filing volume. Additionally, it can take your bank another few days to post the debit to your account.
Don't worry. As long as you file your return (or extension) on or before April 18, 2023, and you select April 18, 2023 (or earlier) as your payment date, you won't get penalized for late payment.
If you still don't see the debit in your bank account 7–10 days after your return has been accepted, call IRS e-file Payment Services at 1-888-353-4537 or contact your state tax agency.
You can double check your banking information was correct.
To check banking information with Online:
If you have 2022 federal taxes owed, you will not see a status on the IRS federal tax refund website - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If you received an email from TurboTax that the IRS has accepted your tax return then the IRS has received the tax return. If you have taxes owed you should have paid those taxes owed on or before April 18, 2023 to avoid a failure to pay penalty. Payments can be made on this IRS payment website using Direct Pay - https://www.irs.gov/payments
If you check the IRS web site and have a balance due then you can use the Where's My Refund tool to check the status of the return by entering in $1 for the refund amount ... https://www.irs.gov/refunds
