TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer. “21 days” is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2023 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

If you are getting earned income credit on line 27 or additional child tax credit on line 28 You are subject to the delay required by the PATH act. Do not expect your refund earlier than late February.
No, your tax refund can be delayed for a number of reasons.
If your taxes are Accepted it is a good thing.
It means that their were no technical errors like Social Security Numbers that were wrong.
It also means that TurboTax does not have any control of your return.
If you are being told that it's still in process, the IRS has not finished checking it out.
The IRS has stated that the typical time to process a tax return is 21 days, but there may be delays for many reasons.
TurboTax can only project the time to get your refund. The IRS has the real control.

So if my Tax return is being processed cause on my IRS account it says received and being processed but on my TurboTax account it says accepted also and when I filed I didn't add my W-2 and left boxes not filled in I accidentally filed it and don't know what will happen I recently now just received my W-2 and the same thing also for my State Taxes in Maryland please I need help if possible thank you.
@armando50 Sounds like you e-filed a return with mistakes on it and now the IRS has it and is processing it. You have to wait and see now what the IRS does. You cannot make any changes right now, so do not even try messing with your returns. The IRS might put your incorrect return under review and send you a letter. If they do that, then you follow the instructions in the letter. Watch the IRS refund site for any updates. TurboTax gets no information from the IRS after you file your tax return.
If the IRS just processes the return with whatever you entered on it, then when they are done with it, you will have to amend to add the W-2 and any other missing information.
Going forward----do not rush to e-file without all of your W-2's and information. Rushing to e-file often leads to mistakes and delays instead of an early fast refund.
