Last year was the first time I used TurboTax. I was surprised that to do so I had to grant access to my bank accounts rather than just providing the documentation from those account. So now I want to revoke access to any of my bank accounts for security reasons. Is this possible through Turbo Tax or do I have to contact each institution individually to revoke access (and then reinstate it next year if I use TurboTax again)?

If you were required to provide access to your bank account it must have been because you chose to have TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund. When it takes too long for a refund to be issued, you agree to have the fees deducted from your account. You can avoid that issue altogether by paying TT its fees upfront with a credit card.
You can contact customer support to discuss it further.

Thank you Xmasbaby0. I did not see another option at that time, but then again it was my first time so I may have just missed that. I would have preferred to pay by credit card. I will contact customer service on Monday to see how to revoke access.
I had a similar problem with my bank sending security notices that Intuit had access my account. The answer doesn't cover my case because I haven't had a refund in years. To resolve it, it took a long time to even find a phone number (instructions apparently don't work on Firefox). Then I got an inappropriate email answer designed to cut off further communication. I called back and finally got a person who was unable to fix the problem. She did give my number to another support person who called me back shortly and fixed it. Some issues can't be fixed by crowd-sourcing. Also the Contact info is difficult to access, and canned responses often don't work. Intuit has outstanding employees, but the support pages make it hard to access them. Wish more web designers followed book, Don't Make Me Think!
