Why is SBTPG holding refunds?

Once they receive notification you put a complaint with BBB, they completly cut you off!! Rufuse your calls and texts stating tgey cannot discuss anything about your case with you because its been red flagged and cannot communacate with you nor talk to ypu?! THIS IS WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO ME?! TGEY HAVE HAD MY REFUND SINCE FEBUARY 19TH. THEY SUPPOsedly got it rejected back from my back feb. 28th. Told me one day it was sent in a check that date. Then they said march 2nd. Then they said the machine was down march 2nd and ni checks went out till march 4th. Then another representative told me the 2nd. Then another one the next day said tgd 8th. Then they said if i dont receive it by tge 18th to call the following monday? Then when i called a lady yelled at me and told me it was in my city and to wait my ass till tge 24tg and straight up hung up on me. I made a complaint to BBB AND THE NEXT DAY WAS CUT OFF?! AND NOW TODAY I RECEICE AN EMAIL WITH A FORM THAT THE BBB contacted them and i have to get a paper nortorized to get my check reissued which was sent febuary 25th?! How the **bleep** is tgis possible when they didnt ecen receive it back till febuary 28th!!! This isnt right. Ive begged and cried and im at my wits end. My family is in great need of this fir our rent. My brothers are disabled and scared of losing their home. I feel so helpless. Its SAD already. .. no one wants to help me ? Its downright wrong!!!!

I am at a total loss here. I did file a complaint with BBB and the SBTPG quit discussing my account with me, so I waited. BBB emailed today and my complaint was closed because SBTPG failed to respond. What!?!? Where do I go from here!?!? They’ve had my refund since 2/2/22!!!!!

my refund was sent to tpg on 2/24 and according to the irs agent i spoke with it was sent back. i cant get in touch with anyone at tpg via any number that turbo tax has given me to even get an explanation or any info as to where my money is.  does anyone have a number that they have used to reach a live person?

After a full two months I finally received my check. 

turbo tax Facebook team was super helpful after a bumpy start.

SBTPG is a terrible company though. 

on March 10th I was told it would be sent Friday March 11th and to wait 7-10 business days which would conclude on March 24. 

on March 22 they said give it until March 25th. 

on March 29rh I was ensured they reissued a check and would be sending it fed ex overnight. They even sent a tracking number. 

when looking at their tracking number it showed that they had only created the label and never actually sent anything. 

im assuming they did that to buy some extra time because on April 2nd a check finally arrived. 

now here’s the thing…. The check was dated March 15th… 5 days after they said they would send it the next day …..

and the envelope was post marked on March 23rd. 

simply amazing how a company can tell so many lies that are easily to be caught. I am happy I have received my funds, but it never should’ve taken this long

Yes the same thing is currently happening to me.....My refund back is $1992.42 and I only received a a deposit of $1,304.53.... That is a $687 discrepancy.......I need someone to look into this because that makes me very uncomfortable as a customer...

Well...I have spoken to a live representative about this and I have now been on hold for an hour with SBTPG... These articles are no help... at the end of the day these are pretty large mistakes...

Hello I have been waiting for months as well. I'm happy you finally received your money. Did you message the turbo tax facebook if so what did you say? I'm so desperate at this point and having mental breakdowns from this situation.
