You said you ended up filing with a different tax preparer. Who did you use?
Thank you !
Wow that's usual then why do I have to pay turbo tax when take it out of my check
If you selected to have your fees taken out of your refund, the request for payment does not appear. So, if you have paid twice. No problem, you can be reimbursed with proof of both payments.

I filed my taxes In February with Turbo Tax online. I have still not received an acceptance or rejection as of 3/31. Turbo Tax continues to tell me to check again in 48 hours. Each time I wait 48 hours and check again, there are no changes. In prior years, I would get an acceptance very quickly. What do I do if I don't get an acceptance/rejection? How long do I wait?!

What is the status of the e-filed tax return? See this TurboTax support FAQ to check the e-file status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/return-status/help/how-do-i-check-my-e-file-status/01/25538
That’s no help what’s so ever.

If you do not know the status of the tax return you filed you will not know if it was accepted or rejected. Use the FAQ to find out the status. What is the status?

The status of the tax return is shown for both Federal and State at the top of the Tax Home page
Mine too! Super annoying! I filed on 2/8/21. Annoying as heck!
Mine been stuck on this screen since February and no movement at all.
I file on 02/12/21 with turbotax online and paid for the service. As of now, my Federal Return is still showing pending. Whoever is still waiting I highly recommend go file your tax somewhere else. I went to go file my tax at a CPA office on Saturday and 30 min later IRS has accepted my eFile. I hope this helps with others that are still waiting with turbotax.
I WILL NEVER USE TURBO TAX AGAIN. Now i have to figure out how to get my money back from turbotax that i paid for a useless service.
mine was filed over three months ago and is still pending!!!! Turbo tax has and is impatient they already tried three times to take out fees out of my account. But they were supposed to take it out of my return.
@cohranless The IRS is severely backlogged and is taking a long time to process many returns.
If you are getting emails about your TurboTax fees you need to call and request a delay for the auto debit.
Did you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund? Is your refund taking an unusually long time to arrive? Or was your refund seized to pay a debt you owed? if so, you signed an agreement that says TT can withdraw its fees from your account. TurboTax would have sent several emails to you before they took the money out of your account.
