Why am I unable to print the tax forms from my iMac this year? I've used Turbo Tax for several years with no problem. When will this be corrected?

Having same prob: can't print returns from my iMac. Was able to E-file fed return tho.  It's 2/17/25, just spent 42 min with support guy.  Tried deleting TT, then reinstalling it... didn't work. He does acknowledge there's a prob with the software at least. He gave up, put me on hold where they said wait time was 40 min. Cmon Intuit, fix the prob!!!!!! I need to print my state return so I can mail it.

I am also a long time (20+ years) Turbo Tax desktop user and this year I'm unable to print my extension form. I haven't even tried do my taxes yet and with all the problems everyone is having on printing from a Mac, I may just move to another software package. Has anyone tried a different package from another company for filing taxes?

I certainly appreciate all you did and tried for this workaround. Unfortunately I followed through step 3 and after selecting Preview from the File menu I got the MAC spinning beach ball. After checking the Turbo Tax process in Activity Monitor it is Not Responding and has been in this state for 15 minutes.  I had to force quit the process.  I’ll keep trying to see if I can find any other workaround. Thanks!

Update to my last reply - I was able to get to the preview by going to Forms and selecting a form. The when I selected Preview under the file menu it gave me the option to print my Federal and State return. I followed the rest of your instructions and got the return printed. Not sure if I really need a particular form printed how to do that but for now I can moved ahead. Thanks again!

I was able to follow the solution until I got to number 7.  I did get the tiny return but did  not get the drop down menu or the ink bottle in front of the square paper.  Any other help would be appreciated.

I agree this is a software issue.  TurboTax you need to fix this!  Very frustrating!

For those with Macs, try this: On the iMac menu bar at the top of your screen, under File, select Save to Pdf.  It will ask you where to save; remember that location. Then hit Save. Find the pdf file at the saved location. Open it, and you will be able to view the return. It worked for me on my 2017 iMac running Ventura 13.7.4.
