Did you receive a notice in the mail from the IRS requesting the copy of a W-2? Then where and how to send the W-2 copy would be in the notice.
No they have held my refund and when I finally got ahold of someone they said its because they didn't receive a copy of my w-2 but they wouldn't tell me what I needed to do.
That means that the IRS did not receive a copy of the W-2 you entered on your tax return from the employer. It is the employers responsibility to provide the IRS with the copy. Unless and until you receive a notice in the mail from the IRS requesting that you send anything to them you can only wait.
So there is nothing I can do? I was depending on that refund money. Should I contact my employer or will the IRS do that?
It wouldn't hurt to contact the employer and ask if any other employees have reported a similar experience.
You may also benefit from contacting a Taxpayer Advocate and see if they can help get any more information on how to fix the situation.

There is nothing TurboTax or anybody here can do to assist with something like this, sorry.
