Are we going to have to wait until March to get this form in TT 2022 or is it there already? Waiting until the end of March is not acceptable.
@BarryGraham
As of now Form 8915-F is scheduled to be ready on 2/16/2023.
What does this even mean>? I can look up the document using google, why can't I just print it out>??? Why won't turbo tax let me print the rest of return....
IRS form 8915-F Qualified Disaster Retirement Plan Distributions and Repayments allowed you to spread the payment of taxes for a retirement plan distribution over tax years 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Are you expecting to use this form? Forms availability says that the form will not be available until February 16.
If you are not expecting to be using this form, perhaps a question was answered incorrectly when circulating through the questions.
Try the following steps if you are using TurboTax Online to see if the error message will clear:
If the error still has not cleared, you may be able to remove an IRS form 8915-F by:
Why does it say e-file will not be supported for the taxpayer 8915-F but it will be supported for the spouse form?
Exactly, thats so stupid, Turbo Tax can you please look into this issue?
The form will be updated to file on 2/23/2023.
You can view the form's availability here, to keep track of when the form will be available.
According to the IRS website the form was ready to go at the end of January. This is my last year to use this form thankfully so it may also be my last year for TurboTax too if the delay is strictly TurboTax's inability to keep things updated in a timely manner.
Why is TurboTax so behind on this form? Why is this taking so long to update? I have emails from later in January from TurboTax saying the section and forms were ready to go and then when I go to file a couple of weeks ago it suddenly isn't ready again but doesn't say it until you get ready to file. Make up your mind. You're playing with peoples livelihoods here and for as much as we have to pay to use this service, I expect it to be ready to go.
Now it has been delayed again to 3/2/23! It is frustrating to sit down and pick up where I left off only to be given yet another date weeks out. The other online companies have it available and ready to go.
It's delayed...again...until 3/9/23. Last year if I recall correctly, it wasn't ready until late March or early April.
