What does "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." Exactly mean?

I also have been waiting for 3 months. Filed Feb. 12th and accepted by IRS. Recieved a letter from them stating I was missing one form, which turbotax never asked me for, but I mailed in on March 18. IRS says still processing on May 16th. To make matters worse, they wouldnt take my direct deposit info for 2019, so I used 2018 just to verify direct deposit or so I thought. They ended up using my 2018 return and shorted me $1400 for my stimulus money. The ITS sucks. Last year wen I had to pay they got it on time though. So frustrated!!!

Sharonkeef I appreciate you trying to help, but I'm not giving you or anyone else my personal information. ie: social security #, etc. which I'm sure an advocate would need. Thanks anyway.

I need to find out how to go about getting my refund sent for hardships reasons. I don't know how many times I've commented on these threads about this issue. I filed my taxes electronically through TT on 03/04 they were accepted on 03/05 and all it says is that they are still processing. I received my Stimulus check for the right amount but have no idea what's going on with my tax refund. No one is at the IRS building to call, I've left 3 messages on the voicemail of the Tax Advocate Service in my area. So I'm completely left in the dark. I haven't received any letters about my refund and can't really think of a reason that there would be was issue. I have a small business that I started last year. I followed all of the prompts and answered every question on TT to file my taxes. I'm just frustrated at this point.

I am having the same problem. I mailed my 2018 taxes in March and e-filed my 2019 in April. I have not received anything; not even my stimulus. It only says 2019 has been received and processing. Since 2018 or 2019 is processed, I can't get stimulus. HORRIBLE!

TurboTax, H&R Block, and other tax filing companies lobby our government to make taxes the most complicated as possible. The IRS already has all the info they need to send us a bill or a refund. But these companies thrive off of making things so difficult, we have to depend on them. They even scam us into thinking we HAVE to pay them to file. Nope. It's 100% free to file. Now we're stuck wondering which of the million cogs in the machine is broken so we can recieve our own money back.

I agree, turbo tax has burned me. I got my state back but no federal, I haven't received any email letter or anything regarding my federal taxes. I also have not received my stimulus. Idk what their problem is. But I I filed February 7th and got accepted February 8th. They took their money and my bank account has been negative for the last 2 month. Thanks TurboTax.
