I e-filed my 2023 taxes and then realized the Robinhood data never got imported for 2023.
I started an amended return in TurboTax 2023 and then imported the Robinhood data. I wrote a several line explanation of the change on the 1040-X. On the Minnesota M1X (which only has like 2 lines for the explanation in TurboTax), I clicked copy the info from the 1040-X.
Immediately, the box popped up that said "Oh dear. TurboTax ran into a problem and has to shut down." Without thinking it through, I clicked "Save changes". It now consistently displays that error on launch every time I try to start the program.
So I either need this software bug fixed, or I need to know how to edit my .tax2023 file in a text editor so I can remove the offending entry from the M1X form.
Running Mac OS 14.5 on a M2 MacBook Air.
Thanks in advance for the help!
