I e-filed my 2018 return on march 5, 2019 and have the accepted reply from Turbo Tax. Now when I log in to my account and try to check status, it says " it appears you didn't file using turbo tax"
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
You have to sign onto your 2018 online account using the exact same user ID you used to create the 2018 online account.
Close all TurboTax windows on your web browser (including this one). Copy and paste the account recovery website link onto a new web browser window and run the tool.
Use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of all the user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery
If none of the user ID's received will access your 2018 account, then use the option shown in blue on the account recovery website, "Try something else"
If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
If you still cannot access your account, you can contact TurboTax customer service/support through their contact website during business hours.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for a contact link and hours of operation - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/3401489
Submit your question/problem during business hours and then use the option for Call (a phone number will be provided for Call) to speak directly with a TurboTax agent -
Note: The Call option will not be available when TurboTax Support is closed.
Support can also be reached by messaging them on these pages https://www.facebook.com/turbotax/ and https://twitter.com/TeamTurboTax
I can open my Turbo Tax 2018 and see my return. My question is when I log into turbo tax and go to bottom of page it says "it looks like you did not use Turbo Tax to file for 2018." I still have my acknowledgement that return was accepted.

I have the exact same problem! I just got a letter from IRS saying they never received my 2018 return but they did receive the check I sent for taxes owed. I KNOW I e-file but have not found anyone to help me! Finally I found some answers here in this community. I am going to follow these instructions and see what happens.

Been seeing a bunch of these notices. Sounds like the IRS has some problems with their data retention systems.

A 2018 tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.
Print, sign, date and mail the tax return to the IRS. Include with the mailed return any forms W-2 and 1099 which have taxes withheld. Go to this IRS website for mailing addresses - https://www.irs.gov/filing/where-to-file-paper-tax-returns-with-or-without-a-payment
There are no penalties for filing a tax return after the due date if filing for a tax refund or there are no taxes owed.
Is there anywhere I can find proof where I did e-filed this return? All I found was this (screen shot) You can see that I filed on 2/15/2019.
As far as mailing the return in now, the PDF (including all worksheets, etc.) is 182 pages!!
I meant to say that the notice I got from the IRS that says I did not file, also states that they did receive the check I mailed for taxes owed and they say it is a credit!

You do not mail in the entire PDF including worksheets as the IRS could care less about those. You only print and mail the Form 1040 and other supporting Forms and Schedules which have an Attachment Sequence Number located in the upper right corner of the form or schedule. You select which pages to print with the PDF viewer you are using.
